David is a 3rd generation Colorado native- born and raised in the Denver metro area. He worked in the Colorado business sector for a number of years until he was admitted into the Colorado bar and began practicing law in 2000. As a practicing attorney, he was recruited by several different staffing and search firms. Through this experience, he developed an interest in recruiting and discovered a better way to conduct the business. He founded Law Q because he loves people and enjoys working with companies and law firms in the Rocky Mountain region. His background makes him uniquely qualified to understand the staffing needs of his business and legal clients and to recruit the finest professional candidates from around the globe.

Before founding Law Q, David served as a Captain and Judge Advocate (JAG) in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2001-2004. Upon his Honorable Discharge from active duty, he was hired as an associate for a Colorado south metro law firm practicing commercial litigation. In 2005, he was recruited to join a downtown Denver law firm practicing corporate law and business transactions. In 2006, he left the practice of law and founded Law Q, LLC. During this time, he again entered into the service of his country and joined the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves. He no longer works as a Judge Advocate, but is assigned as a Detachment Commander for MACS-23 at Buckley AFB, Aurora, CO. He has served two combat deployments (TAOC Detachment Commander in Iraq (OIF) and Civil Affairs Team Leader in Afghanistan (OEF)).
